Cucoon welcomes children from 1 to 6 years old, covering the crucial early years of growth and development.

We see parents as partners. Regular parent-teacher dialogues and progress reflections, and keep families connected to their child’s growth. We also encourage parents to participate in special classroom days, and cultural celebrations.

Our teachers are carefully chosen not just for their credentials, but also for their warmth and love for children. Each Teacher is a graduate, with a Diploma or Certification in Early Childhood Education preferred, and has prior preschool experience. Beyond qualifications, we place a strong emphasis on continuous training, ensuring our teachers are always aligned with the latest EYFS framework practices and child-centered methodologies.

We maintain a low child-to-teacher ratio to give every child the individual attention they deserve. The exact number is dependent on the age group. Our ratios are thoughtfully designed to ensure that each child feels seen, heard, and supported– whether it’s during circle time, free play, or guided activities. This helps us create a warm and personalized learning environment.

Safety is at the heart of everything we do. Our premises are child-proofed, CCTV-monitored, and access-controlled. Every staff member undergoes a background verification and child-safeguarding training, ensuring they understand not just the physical safety protocols but also the emotional well-being of children. From secure entry/exit systems to trained first-aid responders, we ensure children are safe, protected, and nurtured at all times.

Our classrooms are designed to feel like a second home for children—warm, welcoming, and inspiring. You’ll find natural light, pastel tones, and thoughtfully curated learning zones such as reading nooks, creative studios, and exploration corners. Each space is built to spark curiosity, encourage independence, and nurture joyful learning, all inspired by the EYFS philosophy of play-based, child-led development.

The admission process is simple and personal. Parents can fill out an enquiry form online or visit our preschool in person to explore the environment. We also encourage a guided tour and interaction with our academic team, so families can experience our philosophy firsthand. Once you’re ready, we’ll guide you step by step through the application, orientation, and settling-in process.

We believe in a balanced, intentional approach to technology. In the early years, our focus is on hands-on, real-world exploration rather than screen time. Technology is used thoughtfully for parent communication, documentation of learning, and sometimes as a supportive tool in classrooms (e.g., music, interactive storytelling), but never as a replacement for play, relationships, or real experiences.

Yes, we provide nutritious, child-friendly meals and snacks designed to support healthy growth and development. Our meal plans are curated with a focus on balance, variety, and taste, catering to young palates while ensuring wholesome nutrition. We also accommodate specific dietary requirements, where possible.

Yes, we understand the needs of working parents and offer extended day care options beyond regular preschool hours. Children in extended care enjoy a safe, engaging, and homelike environment with opportunities for relaxation, play, and enrichment activities, under the same attentive supervision of our trained staff.
